On Wednesday, Dr. Stefano Bertozzi joined the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Global Health Program (GHP) and will head the HIV team. Dr. Bertozzi and his team will manage the foundation’s various projects that focus on tackling HIV/AIDS in developing countries throughout the world.
Among many qualifications and experiences, Dr. Bertozzi notably served as the World Health Organization’s director of the Global Programme on AIDS.
