For one, it’s outdated. Worse, on the next page for “prognosis”, the writer quotes time frames from the Lancet: “According to a study in the medical journal Lancet, researchers found that the life expectancy of a 20-year-old HIV patient receiving combination therapy averages at around 50 years.”.
