Kaletra (lopinavir/ritonavir) belongs to a class of anti-HIV drugs known as protease inhibitors, which are known to reduce the amount of HIV in the blood and to increase the number of CD4 cells in the body. Kaletra is a combination of two drugs and can be prescribed in either a once daily or twice daily dosage.
