The AIDS Project Greater Danbury holds an HIV Support Group every Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The group helps those infected and affected by HIV, empowering participants to develop healthy networks, share experiences, and learn more about HIV-related information. August 3 (New Haven, CT) – Women’s Skills Training Group
The group meets every Tuesday to help HIV-positive women maintain their sobriety and live healthier lifestyles. Lunch and transportation are provided. Meetings take place at 11 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month and at 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Attendance must be confirmed each Monday. August 4 (Boulder, CO) – Bands On The Bricks
The Boulder County AIDS Project is cosponsoring “Bands on the Bricks,” featuring “Face,” on August 4 and “That Eighties Band,” on August 11. Both events run from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fifty percent of proceeds from the Beer Garden will benefit the Boulder County AIDS Project.
