October 7-11 (Atlanta, Georgia) – US Conference on African Immigrant Health (USCAIH)
Alliance for Health in the African Diaspora, Inc. (AHADI) is organizing a conference to enhance the capacity of community and faith based organizations to serve the African Diaspora in health education, research, prevention, care, and treatment. This conference will bring together members of the community, health scientists, public health workers, advocates and providers, as well as community organizers to chart a purposeful course for addressing health prevention, education, care, and treatment among the growing African immigrant communities and other minorities in the United States. AHADI seeks to engage health policy makers and healthcare providers to address health disparities in the African Diaspora so that health quality and access to care can be maximized.
