The goal of the GLMA Annual Conference is to educate healthcare professionals and others about the unique health needs of LGBT patients and the unique challenges faced by LGBT healthcare providers. At the conclusion of the conference, participants should be able to identify resources and avenues for healthcare access for the LGBT population; understand recent research and advances in healthcare delivery specific to the LGBT patient population; and obtain strategies for advocating for LGBT healthcare.
