This UCLA lecture series aims to highlight recent research developments on the topic of HIV/AIDS and to interest, educate, and engage attendees. Each hour-long lunchtime lecture will report on new findings and new funding opportunities. Speaking this month is William Rodriguez, M.D., Associate Director of International Operational Research at the Harvard Medical School, Division of AIDS.
March 13 (St. Charles, IL) – All Things Chocolate

May 16 (New York City, NY)- AIDS Walk New York
This is the 25th anniversary of AIDS Walk New York. This event will begin in Central Park and will honor those living with HIV and AIDS and remember those who have passed from the disease.
March 20 (Chicago, IL)- Better Existence With HIV Cabaret

March 21-26 (Alberta, Canada)- HIV Vaccines
This event is sponsored by the Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology. New developments in vaccinology will be discussed as it pertains to HIV/AIDS and other viruses. Visit the website for more information.
March 27 (Charlottesville, VA) – AIDS Walk 2010
From 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Westminister Presbyterian Church (190 Rugby Road), AIDS Service Group will organize this 5K walk. Individuals have a $20 registration fee, waived for those with sponsor pledges, and teams have a $150 registration fee. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams and individual walkers, and 78 cents for every dollar raised will go towards HIV/AIDS support programs in the area.
