In this series of short videos, Brett Grodeck presents practical advice on many HIV-associated issues, including dating, depression, job discrimination, and insurance coverage. Brett learned that he was HIV positive during the 1980s at age 21, when resources for people with HIV were almost nonexistent. Since his diagnosis, Brett has set out to spread HIV awareness and education. Brett has become a patient advocate for the Food and Drug Administration and has written a book, called “The First Year – HIV,” that offers advice to those newly diagnosed with HIV.
