July 15-18 (Stowe, VT) – Vermont People With AIDS Coalition Annual Retreat
This will be the Coalition’s 20th Annual Retreat. It’s the largest gathering of people with HIV in the state of Vermont. The four-day event is an opportunity to spend time with others who share the burden of HIV. There will be exciting activities and workshops, support groups, meals, discussion groups, as well as fun and entertainment in the evenings.

May 15-17 (Washington, DC) – Voices
Voices is a national conference dedicated to AIDS and women, children, youth and families, that brings together program administrators, case managers and care coordinators for a public forum. After the conference, many participants also become involved in Capitol Hill Advocacy Day, which serves to educate Congress about the needs of individuals with HIV.

May 14-15 (Orlando, FL) – 19th Annual HIV Conference
Put on for the benefit of primarily HIV healthcare providers, this conference hopes to increase the knowledge and skills of all attendees. There will be five separate tracks offered to customize your experience, and there will also be take-home materials provided. Early registration begins January 1, 2010.

May 14 (Los Angeles, CA) – Monthly AIDS Institute Grand Rounds Lecture
This UCLA lecture series aims to highlight recent research developments on the topic of HIV/AIDS and to interest, educate, and engage attendees. Each hour-long lunchtime lecture will report on new findings and new funding opportunities. Speaking will be Wafaa El-Sadr, Ph. D., from Columbia University. Topic TBD.
