July 15-18 (Stowe, VT) – Vermont People With AIDS Coalition Annual Retreat
This will be the Coalition’s 20th Annual Retreat. It’s the largest gathering of people with HIV in the state of Vermont. The four-day event is an opportunity to spend time with others who share the burden of HIV. There will be exciting activities and workshops, support groups, meals, discussion groups, as well as fun and entertainment in the evenings.

May 15-17 (Washington, DC) – Voices
Voices is a national conference dedicated to AIDS and women, children, youth and families, that brings together program administrators, case managers and care coordinators for a public forum. After the conference, many participants also become involved in Capitol Hill Advocacy Day, which serves to educate Congress about the needs of individuals with HIV.

Feb 25 (St. Thomas, FL) – STD/HIV Conference
The conference will hold two sessions, both morning, beginning at 9 am, and afternoon, beginning at 1 pm. In the morning session, there are two possible options: Track 1, which is HIV and primary care, targeted at health practitioners, and Track 2, Adolescents and Counseling. February 24 (Montgomery, AL) – Media Day
AIDS Alabama will host this reception to raise awareness about the necessary funding required to continue HIV care and prevention in the state. HIV-positive individuals will be able to meet with their state representatives to advocate for critical funding for Alabama’s HIV/AIDS infrastructure and care systems. Media representatives are welcomed and encouraged to attend. The event will take place at the RSA Plaza Terrace at 11 a.m.
